We have streamlined signup for homeschooling. To sign up:<\/h5>\n

  1. Download and Fill out the Homeschooling Notification Forms located on the Files & Forms page.<\/a>\n
      \n
    1. Please note: you need to fill the correct form depending on where you live (i.e city or county).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Attach and Send the filled-out PDF form to the email address you will find below that specific downloadable Form.\n

      1. Please note: The deadline they want it by is August 15<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        This will sign your child\/children up directly with your educational jurisdiction and cover your child legally as a homeschooler for this year.\u00a0 (If the link doesn’t work, you can print form and email it to the jurisdiction.)<\/div>\n

        1. If you are signing up under LHUG you can fill out the LHUG application<\/b> on our Files & Forms Page<\/a>\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n
        2. Then pay the registration fee by clicking “Pay Here” button: $50 for the year per family. Make sure to choose friends and family.<\/b><\/li>\n
        3. \u00a0To Get Connected with other families in our group (you can ask questions, get guidance, know what activities are available), we have many options. Check them out HERE<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0This group affiliates legally under an Orthodox Jewish “educational church” group, so please be aware that we expect all members to operate their homeschool ‘in a manner consistent with Torah principles’<\/p>\n

          \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We have somewhat minimalist requirements, but we do comply with COMAR homeschooling laws (see laws here http:\/\/www.mdhsa.com\/legal\/comar.php<\/a>) .<\/p>\n

          \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0For each new homeschool family, we conduct an introductory interview (usually by phone), we have at least one \u2018on site\u2019 inspection per year (usually at an event your child is attending), and we close out the year with small group review meetings (currently online). \u00a0 Our primary focus, however, is to provide framework, connections and support for a great homeschooling experience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
